Melovy, thanks for finding my hub informative. I personally do not think you should feel guilty, but that the meals that are prepared are optimal in nutrition. Size has nothing to do with being healthy. If so,all obese people would be healthy. Not so, as you know too.

Leaving aside everything, else our body structure and organs are just not made to handle non vegetarian food.

Thanks for your sincere comments.

Interesting Hub. I eat no red meat but do eat chicken and fish. That said - I eat very little of those and am slowly becoming a full-fledged vegetarian again. Thanks for the great read.

This is very useful Sir! Quite an eye opener for me, I'm not a vegetarian but recently as much as possible I avoid meat and replaced them with other alternatives. Slowly and hopefully in due time I will adopt the vegetarian diet... ^_^

I think it's also worth noting that it takes less farmland to feed a vegetarian than it does a carnivore; with the population, now, over 7billion, every little helps.....

I really enjoyed this article. I became vegetarian after marrying my husband. As an American, I was accustomed to a non-vegetarian diet. My husband, being Indian Hindu, is a vegetarian. I agree to try his way and I haven't eaten meat since. I can say my experience with a vegetarian supports what you have written here. Its been a boon to my health and I have lost several unwanted pounds of stored body fat without even making an effort. I will be reading more of your articles.
